Every social media site provides a venue for you to give a brief description of who you are, often called a bio. Do not neglect this part of your profile. Everybody who visits your page does two things immediately—they check out your photo, and then they read your bio. So, how can you make sure that you describe yourself in an appealing way to job applicants?
Be human! Humor is a good thing—mix professionalism with approachability. Do not sound overly stiff and robotic. Applicants like to feel as if they can actually get to know the culture of your company through your social media accounts. Highlighting your values and being charismatic throughout your bio is a great way to do so.
3. Show off your current workers
If your employees like working for you, let the world know! Encourage them to talk up your company (its benefits, its culture, etc.) on social media. This will reflect well upon candidates who are considering working for your enterprise. Nothing is as reassuring as seeing others working happily for your small business.
